The purpose of this is to tell you how Touchpoint Executive manages your personal information. We are committed to the protection of your personal information and we treat it as private and confidential.

Collection of personal information

Where practical we will collect personal information directly from you. Generally this will be your application or Resumé but may also be collected by us when you deal with us by telephone, letter, facsimile, email or when you visit our website or other job websites.

Generally, the type of personal information we collect about you is the information included in the your application or Resumé, for example, the your name, mailing address, telephone number, email address, career history, details of any competency tests, referees, results of background or medical checks or other information relating to your career. Once collected we may use the information for all recruitment activities within our business in addition to any related or ancillary purposes.

You agree that all personal information provided to us is true and correct, including but not limited to names and addresses and contact details of previous employers and referees, periods of employment, circumstances in which previous employment terminated, personal details, ability to work in Australia, visas, work permits, qualifications or education generally.

Disclosure of Information

We do not typically disclose information to third parties unless required. Circumstances where this may be the case may include disclosure as permitted by law or with regulatory bodies and law enforcement officials, or in order to provide information to protect against fraud and share information with your consent. Other situations where we may disclose your personal information to third parties includes to:

Educational or vocational organizations to the extent necessary to verify your qualifications.

We may engage third party contractors to perform services for us. In such cases those third party contractors may be required to handle personal information. Under these circumstances those third party contractors must safeguard this information and must only use it for the purposes for which it was supplied, although we are not responsible for ensuring this.

Access, correct or update your information

You may access and correct personal data by contacting us. This is subject to some exceptions allowed by law. If we decline you access to your personal information or refuses to correct your personal information, we will provide you with the reasons for this decision. For further information on our privacy policy, please contact us. If we do not answer your concerns satisfactorily you have the right to make a complaint to the Privacy Commissioner.
